The Orrata dining chair reflects a contemporary interpretation of the classic arch design where the back and arms merge into a continuous wraparound form. This approach originates from micentury lounge design and is adapted here into a more compact format. The curved backrest offers an enclosed seating profile that supports the body from multiple sides which provides a sense of stability without appearing heavy. The seat is broad and slightly rounded at the edges. This maintains a comfortable sitting area while aligning cleanly with the surrounding frame.
